GAA NEWS: STILL NO WIN FOR MALIN AS THEY SET FOCUS FOR CHAMPIONSHIP CLASH WITH GAOTH DOBHAIR

first_imgALL COUNTY LEAGUE DIVISION 1Malin seniors were defeated at the weekend on a scoreline of Dungloe 3-07 Malin 0-10. The resereves drew on a scoreline of 1-06 to 1-06. There is no match next weekend as Donegal play Tyrone in the preliminary round of the Ulster Championship. Senior management team member Robert Farren is involved in the Donegal minor management team this year again and the club wish him and the team all the best for Sunday. Malin will be playing at home in the Senior Championship the following week against Sean Mac Cumhaill’s. As much support as is possible is asked for as the team hope to put their poor league form aside to try and get a run in the championship, this is their only home match in the championship. Malin are also in the group with Gaoth Dobhair and Glenswilly. LADIESThe senior ladies have no match next weekend.UNDERAGEThe under 12’s match against Naomh Padraig, Muff was cancelled last Tuesday due to the weather and they now play Carndonagh on Tuesday at 6.30. The under 14’s play away to Naomh Colmcille, Newtown on Tuesday. The under 16’s beat Glenfin on Monday night. TRAINING SCHEDULEU6 team training every Sunday from 10.00 – 11.15U8 team training every Saturday from 3.00 – 4.15 and Wednesday 6.30- 7.30U10 team training every Sunday from 11.30 – 1.00U12 team training every Saturday from 4.30 – 6.00 and Tuesday from 5.45 – 7.00 U14 team training every Saturday from 9.30 – 11.00 and Tuesday from 5.30 – 7.00U16 team training every Monday from 4.30 – 6.30 and Friday 4.30 – 6.30Senior and Reserve team training every Tuesday and Friday from 7.30 – 9.00UNDERAGE/SENIOR GIRLS TRAINING U6,U8 and U10 girls team training every Saturday from 11.00 – 12.30 usually but will be off this week again because of First Holy Communion in the ParishThe under 12’s are playing away to Buncrana on Wednesday night. The under 14’s are playing away to Buncrana on Tuesday at 6.30.The under 14’s and 16’s continue to train on Wednesday from 5.15 – 6.15.Senior Ladies training every Tuesday and Thursaday from 7.30-8.30.LOTTOThere was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €1350. Sequence drawn was 1-2-4-7-5-6-3. €50 winner was Eileen McLaughlin, Anchor Lodge, Carrowmore, Malin. The €20 seller prize went to Ronan Mc Laughlin, Carrowmore, Malin.
